Gold Intercultural Japanese Learning Scholarship, 2020
Introduction
Mount Lawley Senior High School is a school that has served its community for over 50 years. It has an esteemed reputation in the community and counts amongst its alumni high achievers such as, civic leaders, academics, professionals, tradespeople and sporting people.

Gold Intercultural Learning Scholarship
In accordance with the school's Values and focus on academic excellence, two scholarships are offered, one to a student in Year 11 and one to a student in Year 12 in 2020. To be awarded the scholarship, a student must be enrolled in ATAR Japanese.
The student awarded the scholarship will be expected to maintain high standards of behaviour, attend school regularly and achieve acceptable results.
Value of the Scholarship
The value of the scholarship is as follows:

Year 12 | $250 + iPad from Gold Intercultural Learning |
The scholarship funds may be expended on course contributions or charges or on school uniform items (from the School's Uniform Shop).
Selection Criteria
The criteria for selecting the winner of the scholarship is as follows:
1. Academic Achievement, especially in Japanese.
2. Interest in Japanese.
Students applying for the scholarship are to submit the following:
- Application Form.
- Copy of last school report.
- Statement from the student addressing the selection criteria (maximum one typed page).
