The Year 11 Drama students - as their theatre company, Dangerous Driving Collective - present Alan Seymour's classic play 'The One Day of the Year'. The Cook household has the heavily-drinking patriarch Alf who bemoans the state of Australia. Meanwhile, his university-attending son has opposing views. Mum tries to keep the peace but this ANZAC Day becomes the background for this family to tear itself apart. Sometimes funny, sometimes heartwarming, sometimes shocking: 'The One Day of the Year' is a classic Australian play about Australian values.
